With so much information on hydration and fueling for your run, what's correct and what's myth? How do I know what I should drink or eat, and how much? Can I use what's on the course, or should I bring my own? Learn all this and more, as Ken Roberts from Top Nutrition & Performance leads the discussion on nutrition for runners. The latter part of the hours will address nutrition for triathletes.
The response often published from nutrition related surveys from families is wanting more time to make healthy meals. During this 1-hour class we’ll learn about how to make a meal from the foods that you like to eat, options for making them healthier, and how to create a grocery list that supports your budget, weekly meal plans, and lifestyle. We’ll Learn about terms, such as organic, gluten-free, probiotic, GMO, and more. As well as discuss ways to plan around the many dynamic changes in your unique families.
Cooking for one or two is challenging. Before you have a family you may be learning what and how to prepare foods for one or two and on a budget. During this 1-hour class we’ll learn about making a daily and weekly menu, creating a grocery list that supports that menu, and ways to prepare food to save time throughout your busy week.
